Lewis is a dual-qualified family lawyer, having been admitted to practice in England & Wales in 2021 and Australia in 2025, bringing international expertise and a strong commitment to supporting families through complex legal matters.

Lewis’s passion for family law began during his studies when he volunteered with a child abduction charity, assisting parents affected by international parental child abduction. His early legal experience includes working as a clerk to District and Circuit Judges in Coventry, which gave him valuable insight into court processes and judicial decision-making. After completing his law degree and postgraduate certificate in Legal Practice, Lewis trained at a UK local high street firm, gaining hands-on experience in family law, criminal law, and conveyancing.

Since then, Lewis has specialised in family law, advising on parenting disputes, child protection, domestic abuse, and international children’s matters involving Hague and Non-Hague Convention countries. Following his move to Australia in 2023 and admission as an Australian Lawyer, Lewis now works with the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast teams at Australian Family Lawyers. He combines technical expertise with empathy, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their legal journey.

Outside of work, Lewis enjoys travelling and is a self-proclaimed escape room enthusiast.
