We are excited to announce that Australian Family Lawyers is an official partner of Pride in Law! As advocates for diversity and inclusion, we are honoured to support Pride in Law’s mission to promote and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community within the legal profession. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
At our law firm, we understand that every family law matter is unique, which can make it difficult to predict the exact cost of your case. Many factors, including the finer details of your situation and the other party’s willingness to negotiate, can influence the amount of work needed to resolve your matter and the overall cost. However, you can trust that our experienced team will work tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for you and your family.
Family law matters are generally listed in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) in Sydney. The Sydney FCFCOA is located at Lionel Bowen, Building, 97/99 Goulburn St, Sydney NSW 2001, conveniently also within walking distance from Central, Museum and Town Hall stations.
Hearings may now be conducted in person or electronically, depending on the circumstances. To ensure the safety and well-being of all parties involved, practitioners and clients shouldn’t attend the court in person unless their matter has been specifically listed for an in-person hearing.
If you have any questions or concerns about the process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
