Claudia Hazell

Claudia was admitted as a lawyer in May 2022 and achieved accreditation as a mediator in May 2023.

Prior to joining AFL – Kordos, Claudia worked at a general practice on the outskirts of Melbourne, where she primarily practiced in family law.

Claudia’s family law experience includes acting for clients in relation to parenting matters, divorce, property settlements, and financial agreements.

Prior to becoming admitted as a lawyer, Claudia worked as a legal assistant for a number of years. During her time as a legal assistant, Claudia’s passion for helping others and making positive change continued to grow. Claudia’s passion has followed her in her approach with client’s. Claudia displays high empathy and understanding and takes the time to understand each client’s needs and goals.

Claudia is able to assist clients with their family law matters from all walks of life, whether married, single, or in a de facto relationship.

In addition to her strong background in family law, Claudia also has experience in alternative dispute resolution and is committed to helping clients reach amicable solutions. With her accreditation as a mediator, Claudia is able to guide clients through their family law matters with a focus on reaching a resolution and staying out of Court.

Outside of her work, Claudia enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and staying active through sports and outdoor activities.
