He has been the former chair of the Law Institute of Victoria\u2019s Family Law Section, on numerous subcommittees into the operation of the Family Court, and is a regular speaker in the media and at legal conferences with many published papers. He specialises in complex litigious matters and has been involved in many reported cases which have created significant legal precedents.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst having a reputation for being a dogged advocate for his clients, he is also a big believer in contributing to the community. He has set up and been a Coordinator for the Duty\u2019s Solicitors Scheme at the Melbourne Family Court, has been a Board Member at Victoria\u2019s first legal services centre representing children, has been on the panel for the independent representation of children and been an invited Judge to the Kirby Moot Competition assisting tertiary law students.<\/p>\n<p>Vasilios holds a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and was admitted to practice in 1988. He is a former Chair of the Law Institute of Victoria\u2019s (LIV) Family Law section and a current member and mentor. He is an accredited family law specialist and family law arbitrator. Justin has over 40 years experience in family law both in his role as a former Registrar of the Family Court of Australia and as a Director of Watts McCray.<\/p>\n<p>Justin was nationally accredited as an Arbitrator in 2001 after completing the requisite course at Bond University and subsequently being accredited with AIFLAM. Justin has conducted several arbitrations in the Sydney and Parramatta region, giving parties a much quicker and cost-effective result.<\/p>\n<p>Justin is an author of the family law section of Halsbury\u2019s Laws of Australia, Australian Practical Forms and Precedents and the principal author of the Lexis Nexis online service, Practical Guidance in Family Law. Hannah is devoted to easing the burdens that clients face, by working with them to achieve outcomes that allow them to move forward with their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Hannah holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with Griffith University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology and a Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) with the College of Law. Hannah was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in October 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Hannah has extensive pre-admission experience of some 8 years, where she has been employed in specialist family law firms in both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
